Age is no Barrier when it comes to Travel

Life is meant for good friends and great adventures and travel doesn't become an adventure; until you leave yourself behind.

My escapade was started when I was 15; On 30th September 2015 early morning at 0200 hrs I was having my flight for Germany, as for immigration there were long queue @Indira Gandhi International Airport, Delhi. I entered airport at 2200 hrs for boarding.

Being an Indian girl who had never been out all alone before; I was very excited as well as scared for upcoming year.

Since flying was new to me the my uncle had instructed me during my previous flight which was my life's first flight from Ahmedabad to Delhi and this was going to be my second flight and first international flight.

When it comes to travel I often;..
'AGE IS NO BARRIER WHEN IT COMES TO TRAVEL'

Before entering flight I got many hurdles; which I had to clear. In which very first was a lady of commercial staff of Lufthansa who allotted duty for the passengers to get them boared.

She was surprised and had some queries; So she asked some Gentlemen of airport staff to solve the query and the query was that I was only 15 and therefore how can I travel all alone!!?? But as I was having all the documents of AFS India and the host family details which were checked by them and then made a call to superior. There after they allowed me for boarding.

Now, It was the immigration time. It took 2 hours for immigration process as there were many international flights on board.

Finally after 2 and half hours I reached to the Gate from where I was supposed to enter into flight. Air Staff and ground staff both were so nice to there duties.

It was 8 hrs flight from Delhi to Frankfurt. From Frankfurt to Berlin I was having another flight and from Berlin my Host Parents had to pick me up.
So, this is how I reached to Germany and how I took my first International Flight.
